In 2004, Sunshine Speedway of St. Petersburg, FL closed down due to
the State purchasing the land with intent to run a road through that
property- affecting not only the drivers and fans, but the entire
racing community and the economy of Pinellas County itself! Thankfully
after 8 years of anticipation, Robert ?Showtime? Yoho of Yoho?s Towing
and Recovery has taken over the property to bring back our racing
family. Showtime Speedway is up and running!

My name is Gina Walker and I will be racing in the Street Stock class
at Showtime Speedway in Pinellas Park, FL. I have a 1974 Chevrolet
Monte Carlo rebuilt by Jared Meyer of Meyer RaceCars and myself. It has
been lots of work, since we have rebuilt it from a crash at Citrus
County Speedway in 2011. The car is almost completely brand
new ? financed by myself, a hard-working 20 year old girl, and it has taken some time but I am determined? and this is my life!
Now that you know a little about who?s writing this (and I?d be glad
to talk with you more)? I am looking for a sponsor or two to help me
with the cost of this car, mainly for tires and fuel. Racecar
sponsorship is a very effective form of advertisement as well as a
great way to bring fun into business. If you sponsor me, I will do
all I can do to promote your business- such as:
? Have your business name in large print on my car for advertisement.
? Wear your business name on our racing team T-shirts.
? Hang a banner from the car during pit time.
? Promote you on the trailer and/or pull truck.
? Use the car for promotional events.
? Provide a lot on the backstretch for your employees to watch the races.
