Orange Blossom 100 at Palm Beach?

Can someone help me out, please?

I got some guys tellin’ me on the Palm Beach FaceBook page that the Orange Blossom 100 was a “Mini Stock” race. I respectfully disagree; that race, as I knew it, was always a (Super) Late Model race.

Does anyone somewheres have a list of the winners over the years, especially about the last few years the track was open ('81, '82, '83)? I say Jim Tuning won the race in '81 when it was a Limited Late Model show; and I wanna say that Balough won it the last two years.

I know guys like Donnie Allison, Brack, Anderson, Tissot, Balough, Vance Murray, and Jim Tuning have won this race, and they certainly were’n’t no “Mini Stock” racers.

The mini stocks ran on the same day,but not as the main 100 lap race. I think Tom Duckworth won in 82 and Balough in 83

Jimmy, I went for years, and it was a LM race. billy

What I’m lookin’ for is, a LIST of all the winners of the 100, if anybody’s got one. I wanna say that the first one was in '71.

The race was always a late model or limited late model race. I have the full list of winners but not handy at the moment. Jimmy, email me at racehistry@aol.com and I’ll get it to you.
