Let’s go racing boys and girls, need to wash my car up.
I’m holding out hope for St. Augustine Speedway to re-open also. That place looks like it would be awesome to run. Still looks pristine on Google Earth.
Why Bro? I have lived up here for a long, long time and I’ve seen what the economy has done to most of us racers in the area. Especially the asphalt racers that used to run at CMP. I put in about 15 years myself. Just say’n.
The dirt track is pulling pretty good car counts and that’s where most of the race fans are going on Saturday nights. Two tracks within 10 miles of each other running on the same night hasn’t worked. That’s just a fact.
I was serious when I said Good Luck and I was serious when I said they’re gonna need it.
AND, I will be there to support them bro.
The powers that be in St. Johns county have said that the track will never open again if they have anything to do with it. What a shame. It was a great track.
