Guys if your looking to race we have a 25 lap race this weekend come on down to the south’s fastest short track, see ya Saturday pit opens at 2:00 Thanks John
If you’ve got a Sportsman and don’t want to haul up to Citrus this weekend and get beat into submission by the heavies up there, head to Desoto this weekend. It’s faaaaaast and fun. You might just win. Also if you’ve got an old Limited Late Model and don’t want to get pummeled in a FUPS race being a backmarker, bolt on some 8" rubber and you are legal as an Outlaw Sportsman at Desoto. C’mon dust it off and go for Victory Lane! Your chances are good! Even if you’ve got a Sportsman and haven’t run in a while head to Desoto. Hoosiers or Good Years, it’s all good. It’s not a bullring and there’s room to race. Get out and have some fun. Big things for Sportsman are on the horizon. Don’t you want to be ready???:ernaehrung004:
No matter what else was going on, the surface of De Soto is a hell of a place to race. Its wide, its fast and I’ve always enjoyed it. I got some BOGO tix in the mail today too. Hope they help the track!
Scott you are right that track is a fast one and our team loves racing there and John has been paying the money that he says he will pay. I’m glad to see you posting on here to get more cars down there. It would be nice to race a bigger field of sportsman so you herd em guys pull them out and bring them on because there is also some heavies down here. I kind of resemble that remark. L O L . So does that mean you are coming back to race with us Scott?
Don’t forget your pit slabs!
Don’t forget to call and reserve your favorite pit slab 941-748-3171.

You know if the tracks to fast boys we can put you on the kids track its allmost as big as Showtime. Some people have called or said that the track was real fast,I have to admit its real fast but has two racing grooves plenty of room.See ya Saturday night .Thanks John
John or Roger what has it been paying? Please let me know, I am really thinking of making it down there. Not just to win either. Give me 1st thru 5th please. Thanks, Mark Nelson.
Sorry Rog, cant make it this weekend. Front clip still bent from an intimate introduction to the frontstetch wall at NSS. As soon as it’s fixed I will be back in action. Think I had something for you in the opener this year at Desoto if I didn’t dump the chopper in the 77 and get sent to the back!
Well Scott maybe next time or maybe you can come down and meet Jackman he’s a hell of a good man. You guys can talk about this new series. Just keep in mind where it all started as a budget sportsman series and how far all the rules have advanced. Also with this economy will the racers dedicate their teams to travel and the biggest problem are the racetracks going to be on board. I hope it all will work out but there is a lot of what if’s. But my team will be there if it all works out. 98 sportsman
Cant wait to get back to Desoto for the Florida United Pro Truck Series.on Oct 13, 2012, my favorite track on the circuit. Support our local tracks !!!
if we were ready id be there were really hoping this series deal works!!!
Gonna try and make it down if I can. Chassis guy might finally be able to get my car in his shop this weekend to fix the clip, so that is where my priorities lie right now. I have talked to Scott Jackman on the phone and even without meeting him yet I know he is a good man with his heart in the right place. With him on board we will definitely all be racing around the state next year. And HEEEEY Gary! How did I know that you would be game if this thing takes off? Better dust off that snot rag because the competitors might need it to cry into, if you’re on your game and that puke green car is dialed in!
