I would like to start by saying I’m proud of all the management especially Robert hart and butch to screw this place up so bad that nobody wants to race there like they used to.Like someone from the track told me just the other day they were leaders now they are just followers ruin a good class change rules to their likings always say they will make it better and screw it up worse run all the die hard racers away lie to you especially mr hart after sitting in my office and tell you rules will be changed back to the way they used to be and turn right around and brown nose other employees and change them to what ever they think is better so if they think their way is better and have crappy car counts in all. Divisions well keep it up there are too many racers out there with cars out there just rusting away that supported that place for years.So maybe when you guys repose this and quit screwing up a good thing maybe you will see more of us come back and people in the stands would show up.but this is just a few of our opinions so keep up the shitty work.I tried putting my opinion in for the last meeting they had last Thursday but it all got over ruled by you know who.so all of you that feel the same feel free to add to this post thanks Ron Lufcy

Ron, things change, times change, the state of Florida racing scene has progressed the Sportsman class. In 2004 when the Southern Sportsmen Series began, Fascar decided to leave there rules the same and not adapt to the new series rules. They lost out bigtime, the car count’s had already started to drop, and with the rest of the tracks adopting most or all the series rules, it made it where all the traveling/out of town cars were not legal. I pushed Fascar to adopt these same rules as the series, and it got me in bad standing with the higher up’s. You were at the same Town Hall Meetings I was at in 2008, when everybody said just leave the rules alone we like our big motor cars with the firewalls and floor pan’s, then the car counts started to drop even more, economy related I’m sure it was 2008. Then they were so far in left field with the rules that nobody could even come run a big race at NSS or OSW. I had a friend with a crate motor car with stock leaf springs and rear frame rails, that had to add 250 pounds just to come race, HE STAYED HOME. How many others did the same? Last season at OSW they had a home track rules race that drew 28 Sportsmen cars. Wow people will still come and race if you give them a rule book that meets today’s Sportsmen cars.
Also if there was a rules meeting at NSS or OSW and I didn’t even get an invite, than the tracks have a way bigger problem than the rules.

JMHO. This is good. Some may call it bitching but we need more of the “old drivers” (sorry Ron!) voicing their opinion. Badically some of it sounds like someone promising something without discussing it with whoever he thinks he needs to before he promises it. I have heard this a thousand times, so and so promised this and that and a week later he changed his mind because another so and so said something else!
How many times, when talking about someone have we said, “you may not like what he said, but he’s a man, he keeps his word”? Just my opinion but management needs to THINK before it leaps and then stick to his word. If this had happened Ron would not of come across quite as rough. on the subject but I have witness a lot of biased rules enforcement, or more accurately lack of it thru the yrs. I for one was a very active race fan, at NSS and OSW for some time. I tried in my small way to help several guys with labor, painting, tires etc and enjoyed every min. of it. After about 3-4 yrs of it, watching unfair treatment of differant teams, usually the poor teams or favoritism toward the money teams or relatives of track officials I gave up.
Funny thing is, almost every car owner/driver I talk to are tired of someone coming down from the tower and over ruling tech, randomly kicking someone out the pits for being there with their personal vehicle when over 23 other personal vehicles were there. I now have basically no interest in racing. It was fun while It lasted. I watched the big rich daddies buy the truck division promoting their kids, getting away with anything they wanted. The only one I witnessed be great without a lot of blatant cheating was Ben Kennedy, and to this day he has my upmost respect and best wishes. Question. How many trucks are there now, 3, 4 maybe 5 on a good night, I wonder why??? Yeah, it used to be fun. I’d walk thru the pits, everyone was having fun, most all there for the same reason. Not now, out of the 10-15 total teams there on any given night half of them would kill the other!! Hopefully with some new Tech, Race directors etc the place can be turned around. BUT if NASCAR doesn’t listen to the drivers and fans NSS and OSW won’t survive more than 2 yrs. And that would be a shame. Today there are at a MIN 2-3 times the race cars rotting away in peoples yards than at the track. I saw one just today, paint all faded and dull, dirt and dust all over it, was a competitive car when the rules were the same for everyone, it brought tears to my eyes.The owner still wants to compete but why, when he’s beat before he even starts. I guess they have to let certain people run whatever they want, otherwise no-one would be there. Oh, I wonder if NASCAR will have or allow the attitude “If they don’t like it they can go someplace else”??
Bigbuck, I heard the reason you were tossed from the pits at NSS was because you were driving around the pits and getting in the way with your personal vehicle. You probably didn’t realize it and the other person did not explain it. It was an unfortunate misunderstanding.
Communication is the key in solving issues. Listening is a key component. That will be $85 for this counseling session. (Joking)

Well EZ you were lied to and told WRONG. Seeing you brought it up I will be happy to tell the REST of the story. First of all I would LOVE the opportunity to meet with you and the person that LIED to you about this. Also seing you did all you could to reveal my identity I’ll reveal hers!!! The current pace truck driver at NSS. IF the story was from her she is a liar!! As I say, i will meet with her, you or ANYONE else, also with witnesses of mine!

Several of us were standing in line at the pit entrance waiting for the joint to open. Approx 2:00 in the afternoon. She comes out hugging everyone of us in the line. Fine. As she was hugging David Rogers someone, I know who but won’t say here, but would be happy to in her and your presence, anyhow this person said, and I quote, “Sure, she hugs us here but screws us inside” this is an exact quote my friend! And I’ll add by a track champion who has won MANY Mod.races at NSS. She immediately snaps her head around, looking at me and said , again I quote, “If I want to screw you I’l do it anyplace I want”. At the time I didn’t know why she was looking at me, thought it was someone directly behind me. Of coarse all the time I couldn’t understand why the person that said it didn’t have balls enough to say so.
Now as it just so happens I had 4mounted tires and wheels for the 9 truck in my truck, that I was buying for the truck. I’m sure the owner will say so if asked. Again it was apporx 2:00 P.M. I intentionally arrived early so’s to buy and have mounted 4 tires and get out of the way. As I rounder the oit office on way to tire shed she stopped me and said “You are taking your truck out of the pits right?” I said O’K but I’ve been driving in 2 yrs as I’m a pit member on the 9 truck and carry tires and tools. She said "You are leaving with truck. So I said when I go out at 6:00 to pick up wife I’ll take it out then. At 5:00 she came around and said again, I told you to take your truck out, I said I will at 6:00 or when you make some of the others leave with their personal vehicles. She implied she didn’t know who’s they were I told her “The 4 in a row right beside her have people sitting on the tail gate so I’ll go with you and we’ll find who owns them. She wouldn’t do it. So I went after wife and left truck outside but returned in 2 weeks and posted on KARNAC I was coming back and begged anyone to stop me, no one did. The guy on gate looked the other way when I entered and I parked along the back fence as I had every week for 2 years. All I got was a pissed off look everytime she went pass with pace truck. In fact my wife said 'I wish she’d come say something to her” The week she said I had to leave we took pics of 23 other personal vehicles. So EZ, she can tell you her BS all she wants but I’m saying here and now SHE IS A LIAR!! There are dozens and dozens of people no longet going there because of Bull Shit like this!! I BEGGED management to have me escorted away when I returned as I had already talked to an attorney and he assured me he would be very pleased to make a big deal of it all, I got no takers. IHe was sure the local news channels would LOVE to cover how 1 person out of 20+was made to leave because no personal vehicles were allowed. I do not owe her an apology and she will never get one. She owes me one but may as well save her breath because it would never be accepted!!! But as I said, its crap like this that keeps people away. My truck was NOT in anyones way. It was at the tire shed buying almost $600 worth of tires, then after moved to the back stretch with half the other spectators vehicles. She told me they were stoping spectator vehicles in pits so I asked why don’t you kick the others out? She replied she didnt know who’s they were. I told her I would be happy to find out for her, not very hard seeing they are sitting on the tailgates!! Sorry EZ, but you brought this up, not me. Again, she or wherever you got your info it was a LIE!

Well EZ, you tell me who is on the losing end? MY wife and I attended fri at OSW and Sat. at NSS almost every fri and sat night for two yrs! MANY times we brought people with us, helped sponsor a few cars, you add it up! Thousands of dollars to the track. I don’t dare say how many tires, how much gas, admittance but guarantee its thousands. I did attend most of the remainder of the yr and drove in the pits just to show this “sweet lady” as you call her that I could. So of coarse she had to lie, its not the first time. Well anyhow since that yr we’ve been back 4 times and was bored to death. Its real funny though to watch the flagman look at the tower for instruction! Hopefully this crap will stop now. Till then, I’ll keep on fishing!!
if u cant afford the class your in drop down a class and if your not happy get out of racing these tracks have to change with the times if not they will be out of racing like u so orlando and newsymerna do what pays the bills and as far as buth goes if u want to complain call him or robertm im sure they have herd worse
