Cooler temps arrive but HOT racing action prevails at the Hummer on Friday night for qualifying as the King of America USMTS modified race goes into the 2nd night before a King will be crowned.
Moore of the great racing we saw Thursday continued Friday with the same format of two qualifying heat races were on tap Friday with Terry Phillips and Al Purky coming out as the front row for tonight’s 100 lap a-main.
Track conditions again were top notch for the competitors as the good crowd saw lots of 3 wide and an occasional 4 wide racing from the USMTS modifieds.
This is first round action from Friday night.
