The Citrus County Sheriff’s Emergency Operations Center has released the 11:00 update on Tropical Storm Andrea. It is expected that the center of Andrea will reach the coast of the Big Bend area (North of Citrus County) Thursday afternoon and move across Georgia, South Carolina and Eastern North Carolina Thursday night and early Friday.
We continue to monitor this system closely.

Potentially (maybe optimistically) when these storms pass, the weather behind it is usually beautiful. Clear skies, mild temps, and no threats of rain.

Powell Family Memorial is a GO!
The Powell Family Memorial race is still on for Saturday night June 8th,. After following weather reports all day Citrus Co Speedway management has decided the show will go on!. Schedule remains the same with open practice scheduled for Friday night from 5pm -9pm. and the pits will open at 10am. on Saturday with grandstands opening at 4pm… See you there going to be the best show of the year!
