Did the enduro run on Sunday? If so how many cars and who won?
Heard Sat night at EB it was cancelled…only 6-8 cars signed up for it…something wrong at Bubba-Land ?..OSF
Went to BRP on Sunday, never heard about an enduro race before , during or after the show. Weather was great, nice crowd on hand, plenty of cars in the five divisions that participated. Fl Mini Sprints headlined the card and thirty of them showed with Jim Young of Pennsylvania taking the win. 22 Hobby Stocks with Mike Stalnaker the victor. 25 THunder Stocks with Shane Williams victorius. TQ Late Models had 13 on hand with Don Strosahl Jr winning the feature. The Gladiators fielded 9 cars but had a very exciting finish with the #3 Haseleu & #7 Frankland having at each other leading to DQ’s giving the win to #35 David Walls. All divisions put on very good racing Bubba style. The track to me looked very bumpy in turn four. One flip of the night in the TQ Late Models, driver ok!!! Maybe the fan count and car count might encourage more Sunday racing at BRP. Only issue in my opinion was an advertised 3 o’clock start with the first green actually coming at 3:45. Track ran 13 heat races plus 5 features with a twenty minute intermission in reasonable time. Good show. Great article on Karnac’s front page about the race. That’s the understatement of the century! The middle 100 feet of the front stretch was smooth. The rest was cornfield.
