Sprints At Citrus

This is a show that should not be missed!

Should be a good night of racing come out and see the nonwing sprints at CCS. Hope mother nature is a sprint car fan. See y’all tonight.

Well, drove approx 2.5 hours to Showtime already this weekend.

"I think general admission seating is all on the front side…"–Mr. B

Facing the sun. For about 2.5 hours.

So, rather than an 85% chance of another 2 hour drive tonight, it is probably 10% or so.

No biggie, ya’ll’s deal, just lettin’ you know.

I might have even bought some food (lol)!

I went to the last sprint show and it was great.
Getting ready to go tonight .
The best show I have seen in years.
The non wing sprints and that track fit each other for a great race.
I think the hard right rear tire makes it so the best drivers get to show off there talent.
A big engine is not any help with the tire rule and no wing.
Come see them have to drive the car not gust hold on.

Hope to see a lot of you there tonight…

You “Think”…

I’m with Old School on this deal…not gonna sit in the sun…have not been to Citrus since the pit charge was up’d…and I eat a bunch…not worth the trip from Tampa any more…OSF

Then you missed some great racing last night. Pure stock front four in a real battle and lead change twice in the last lap. Gotta’ love the smell of alcohol from the Sprints too.:huepfen024:

Good Racing and the Burgers weren’t bad either!

Nice car count. Doing some things right up there!

Great night agin.
The sprint race was great. Good car count and side by side racing in most classes
There was some guy Jim hickinpoper there and looked like he was having a lot of fun.
The non wing sprints there are good old time sprint racing like we had at Goldengate and Sunshine.
I wont miss any of these races for sure.
Lots of old friends and a few new ones.
OFS sure will miss you there…

Please define that for me…ie: car counts, level of competition, speed, quality of cars…
Are you taking credit for what back in the day??? I have seen both.
Play your Jethro Tull record again…

I wasent looking for credit for anything
I did go to the sprints back then and was at the race last week and was reporting what I thought.
I played my old caned heat tape when I got back
If you went to the race tell is what you saw or were you just running that keyboard??

don62

Nope, I didn’t go, but yup, I was running my keyboard asking you!

Well, I have never seen my name spelled that bad before… And I believe it’s OSF…
Good seeing you too, Dan26…:sprachlos020:

Let me give it a try
enough sprints for a good show anyware…I think there were 17.
Most of the cars were driven buy the old guys from the 80s or the cars were owned buy the guys form the 80s.
Are you trying to sat the driver or cars weren’t first class then ur nuts
am I taking credit for what?
I did promote a few sprint races back then…mabe a 100 or so.
But that has nothing to do with anything. I went to the races last sat and saw a kick ass sprint show like I watched in the 80s.
If you don’t like the non winged sprints just say so.
I DO …
If it me then say so. I could care less. but the show was great.

Don,

Your non-wing sprint car show description has done motivated me.

Am going to go out of my way to catch one of those in the near future.
