Volusia is still on

Skies are totally clear, hot laps start soon.

United Dirt Late Models in the house. Doesn’t look like a ton of them, but the quality is very good.

Cars I’ve seen in the pits so far:

11 Austin Kirkpatrick
58 Mark Whitener
00 Russell Brown
25 Donnie Chappell
40 Kyle Bronson
8 Scott Lagasse
14 Stanton Mills
71 Bo Allen
7 Jason Fitzgerald
46 Hamp Conley
35 Bobby Ingersoll
55 Devin Walker
21W Chris Waldron
02 Keith Nosbisch
07 David Clegg
57 ?
45 Bobby Richardson
17 Richard Ferry or Joe Jump
Hot laps over.

Also heard the 21 of Ivedent Lloyd, who doesn’t normally run hot laps.

My money (all 2.47) is on Bronson #40…Jerry, you told me to watch him one night…he had to start scratch and came thru the field and WON it…been a fav of mine since…OSF

When he’s on his game, he’s spectacular to watch.

Group 1 Fast Qualifier is Kyle Bronson, Group 2 was Keith Nosbisch, and Group 3 was Stanton Mills, who is the overall FQ for the night.

Corrections. … the 21W is CJ Waldron, not Chris.
The 57 is Eddie Gainey.
The 35 is Win Ingersoll, not Bobby.
Ivedent Lloyd is NOT here.

3K to be won tonight.

17 is Richard Ferry, not Joe Kump.

H-1 goes to Bronson over Kirkpatrick who pulled a last corner pass on Lagasse. That was important as the top 2 go into the top 6 redraw for the Feature.

Nosbisch takes H-2 over Whitener and Clegg.

H-3 goes to Fitzgerald over Mills & Ferry.

Intermission now. 10 races, plus LM qualifying by 9:45.
Always a ton of racing per dollar here at VSP. Not a boring race yet, and the Gladiators just put on a great 5 way battle for the win.

I’m not a big fan of this type of car, but I AM impressed by a good show, and these 5 just did. Even lapped cars are very respectful to the leaders.

Cool to see Eddie Gainey out there- seen Kevin Durden is running a dirt car now too.
Those guys used to dominate Bronson and Columbia.

Thanks for the updates

No prob. I enjoy this.

Rodney Wright just won his 2nd Hobby Stock feature of the night. A make-up race, and the regular feature.

I hear Late Models firing up as I type. This could be very good.

Travis Staats joins in at the last minute. He does fine at 120, but these 25 mph laps are a bitch. Spun out twice going slower than he drove the hauler in here…!

Top 6 starters. Whitener, Kirkpatrick, Nosbisch, Fitzgerald, Bronson, Mills.

Stacked field.

Starts spins L3.
02, 40, 58, 8, 7. Fitzgerald looks strong as does Nosbisch.

All this time, I had the wrong driver. Its actually Aaron Creyor (sp?) In the 1AR. 2nd spin
Bronson took Nosbisch for the lead.

Bronson, Nosbisch, Whitener, Kirkpatrick and Lagasse, during a caution for Clegg & Waldron crash in 4… couldn’t see it from here.
Red Flag is out.

Getting VERY tired of the endless commercial plugs. I understand you’ve gotta give them a mention or 2 or 3… but the exact same 10 minute speech, 3 times already tonight gets old.

Destructive crash on track, Red Flag out, no updates… PERFECT time to turn on County music and take a break.

Fitzgerald, running in the top 5, collects the lap car of Ingersoll.
