Curious if anyone knows what this is...

I found a kart track on google maps today just north of this address

662 Canaveral Groves Blvd., Cocoa, FL

It looks to be clay and probably about 1/8th mile or so. Anyone?

Thanks!

There’s a 1/4 Midget track near that area, in a town called Sharpes. Never been there, so I’m no expert, but it may give you a clue to chase
Boneman has been there I’m almost positive. He could kill or verify this idea.

I’m just curious cause I’ve got 2 box stock clone karts I use to run on dirt up here before I got into the big cars. Would be fun to play with them again when I get back down once in a while. The track I use to race at closed down here and everyone is into champ karts now up here. No flat kart racing really. It kind of sucks, especially this year when I haven’t gotten to race much. Thanks

My kids race at Hurricane. Its got a good surface, and the management is friendly. I’m lucky to have it close to home!

Any chance we will see you at the Inverness Grand Prix this year?

Elto,
Yes! My kids have been pestering me about that for a few years. I think I had a sprint car race last year and we couldn’t make it, so I’ve been ordered to keep that date free in 2014.

We are going to make a weekend out of it: Friday night party and racing on Saturday. Then we head home for the Governor’s Cup on Sunday.

The body on Steven’s kart is patched up and full of tire marks (he likes to “rattle their chain”), so he is hitting up everyone for some new body work.

This week, I found out about a fall festival in Bushnell. TBARA will have a couple of cars in their parade, and if one of them is mine, then we’ll bring our Inverness GP kart too.

Thanks for the info guys!
