three “birds” in one post.
And actually, bad analogy in my case. I do prefer just living comfortably, going to St Pete, and of course, giving you a hard time.

I do a lot of research through there including locating now defunct tracks. Great tool.
I said location, not remoteness. Lake City is hardly a metropolis but the problem is (was) asphalt racing is dead up in that area and when open, LCS had to compete with a sucessful dirt track across town. As for OSW, well a large city is in proximity BUT (especially on Friday) it’s a freakin nightmare to get down SR 50 from anywhere to the joint. So, yes, location IS an issue. It’s OK to be wrong, lol.
Doesn’t matter to me what you’ll “take”, you are usually the first to tout dirt here. If I am mistaking you for someone else, I apologize but I am fairly certain you have mentioned places going to dirt to be more successful more than once lol ![]()
Oh and 28? That’s cute… 37 on our entry list for Sunday, expecting 70+ for the 10k event coming up next month as well.

I thought that was already common knowledge here, sooo I left him out of it.
Volusia County 1/2 mile was dirt in the early 80’s. That particular track (current one) was paved and they ran a bunch of races there in the 90’s including TBARA sprint cars. They then decided to build a second 1/2 mile track, which was dirt, right next to it and ran WoO, All-stars and others on the dirt during Speedweeks while they had pavement racing going on next door, on the same property, on the same nights. However it ended and the new dirt track was disassembled and the paved track was made back into dirt.
Yes.
Clusterfield Raceway Park (CRP).
But the dirt guys like the current configuration.
38 north east big block dirt mods down here for speedweeks, all in nice wraps with their big dollar trucking sponsors wrapped all over the cars,Like I told ya,big money up north,no money down here, but sure you will disagree with that again, because all it takes is some flyers and radio adds that are strategically aired LMAO

5 pages (and counting) started by Yoho’s karnac vetriloquist puppet and none of it is on his topic. Awesome!
Agreed, it’s all over the map.
What’s the name of this thread again?
And nobody here cares…

There you go off on your dirt tangent again. sure there is big money, but there is in FL too. I’ve seen those shony toter homes pulling slm, plm and owm teams all around Florida. It’s funny though cause our support divisions such as street stock, mini stock and limited late models are stronger here than top tier divisions too so really your argument holds no water.
oh and thank you for pointing out that dirt is healthier than asphalt oval almost anywhere you go in the country right now and comparing cars from a Lucas Oil sponsored touring series to local weekly teams. That’s a fair comparison. nice job Kendoll:smilie_bett:

And that folks, is testimony to what celebrating real hard every day does to your cognitive skills.
Ummmmmmmmmm, the joke, sir, was/is that this clown thread that is beyond all over the map is named after…you.
I was a-trying to be polite. However, in lib-speak, you “made” me spell it out for you.
Burp.
Lucas Oil sponsors the north east DIRT modifieds now??? Boy I need to get out more often,See there you go being wrong again and making up your own facts to support your argument,Lucas Oil sponsored East Bay late models.

Nothing wrong with a little SUDS (a GREAT name for a series) now and then. It’s five o’clock somewhere! Too bad you won’t be at Desoto with me and Matt Saturday. Gonna be a great show with the Outhouse and SUDS series in action!
Don’t forget to hand him the flyers…
I’ll admit when I’m wrong. I missed the part where it said northeast. I was sitting in traffic when I typed that my apologies, happy? Lol
