i went to a showtime special event last year. Great show i will admit.
Guys since there are no names on the list for lunch we will have to do it some other time ,let me know when you would like to have lunch, see you at the races John.
John, my name is Jeremy Goddard. I would meet you, the problem I have is living in Oviedo outside Orlando it’s a haul for lunch plus having a Job. Lol and outside of me who else is really willing to come sit down with you?
Phil Jacques, no doubt, but he is currently also tied up wit bidness.
The issue with most of the local tracks is the owners.
Some have a god complex and think everyone should worship them.
Others love the sport but have no idea how to run a business
Some take it all to personal and want to please everyone instead of holding true to the rules and calls made.
Let tech do tech and stay out of it
Let the flagger and track officials make the calls
when the drivers come crying send them to the officials and stand behind them!
Stop blaming the economy, the drivers, the fans.
Do your jobs, Go get sponsorships, stop cutting payouts, give a real point fund and trophies and cut back on the lower classes running 35-42 weeks a year. Try to be a human being to people
Maybe they would come back.
Like I kept telling a certain owner that never listens to anyone be cause he knows it all. Shake hands and kiss babies. Think what you want in your head but you need them to have a race track
Very well said Pun…OSF
Jermery I was only trying to help and answer questions for all of you to understand how a Speedway is operated, this is free schooling it’s a real shame that you can’t use all the tools in the tool box, free knowledge my friend, or I know everyone knows it all on here they can’t put there names on here,I don’t believe that any track owner would try to help and answer some of the hard questions.I don’t sugar coat anything that’s why some can’t sit down with me ,I bring real facts and statistics with me in real time, sorry that everyone feels that way but one thing I have learned in life I listen more than I talk but when I talk they really listen to me,well if I can do anything for anybody anytime let me know, thanks again your friend John.
John,
Open question that is your choice to answer…
Why is someone besides yourself running Desoto?

Because I sold it in 2013,than I sold it again to the present owners in 2014 .After my quad bypass in 09 I was getting tire of working 7 days a week and wanted more time with my wife and kids and it was my turn to enjoy life a little more, don’t get me wrong I loved what I had done with my track over the years had a lot of fun lots of great fans, drivers miss all of it wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world I still go to every track to support them to this day any way I can ,thanks again John.
I see, and may you enjoy your “post-racing” time with your family for a long, long, time.
