Went to last night of speedweeks for woo latemodels and big block modifieds! Standing room only! It was packed. Only stayed through late model feature to beat traffic but saw 15 heats and last chance and the 50 lap feature. There was only ONE caution the whole night! Awesome bad fast racing! Even made it to victory lane. My boy caught the winning frisbee!
Damn, I wished I’d driven the extra 45 minutes! Bubba’s was done a little after 9:30!
50 supers and 35 big blocks. Shane Clanton started 5th and at one time was almost a half lap back and ran down leader during a caution free 50 lapper. The announcers kept the crown excited all night. That place is sure the place to be during speedweeks. I mean literally when you have grown ups including my self yelling and cheering and acting like wild people you’re doing something right.
