This is just my interpratation from reading into the rules. Lots of grey areas from track to track. Im sorry for all the dots. I could not attach my document and then could not get this message to lay out without the dots…pain in the but. This is the best I could do.

Very clear, & great comparison chart.

They look pretty close after all, perhaps.

Nss

Seems to have the best set of rules for the mod class. Steel shocks, 50# for fab clips, stock steel brakes. Things that keep us from being late models. The other differences they have i just dont get. But o well…

Doug,

>Can you get from Showtime to NSS with more offset in the wheels and a second hole in the motor mount support?

>No mention of traction control. I assume it is illegal everywhere…if detected.

>Showtime = template bodies?? Talk about late-model-ish. What do the bodies look like?

oldschool

Lol yes traction control is supposed to be illegal. The NSS rules you speak of are minimum rules. Which means i can run higher motor just not lower and i can be narrower. The Body template thing is something they put in the rules this year to keep them the same. only two tracks have them posted. I think they are the IMCA body templates.

I will say that I kinda disagree with the cookie cutter body. I think its better for the fans to see all sorts of body differences. Yes aero is imprtant but at the end of the day they are modifieds.

BTW, how is the #53 coming along?

Not too well

Too much going on at work. Not enuff time in the day. And night. It’s moving forward ever so slowly. Getting back on it a couple hours a night
