Long-time car owner Guy Callon lost his long-fought battle with cancer this morning… Guy was best known as the owner of the cars that “Mr. Mini Stock,” Ted Vulpius drove for the last 20 years to over 200 feature wins and six track championships… Guy was a true racer that loved racing more than anyone and he still went to the track all the way up until his final days… His racing career and the stories that went with it led back to the old Eau Gallie Speedway days and he was also a part of racing at the old Deland Drive-In Speedway, Orlando SpeedWorld and, of course, his favorite track, New Smyrna Speedway… He will be one of those who just cannot be replaced… RIP Mr. Callon…
