I have a 362 cubic inch Chevrolet super late model engine originally built by Progressive Racing engines in Florida. It has since been refreshed by Greg Stephens in Florida. This motor came out of Vince Keeler/Mark Adam’s late model that ran in Florida. Greg told me that the internals are as follows:
- Gm phase II Bowtie heads that were built by Champion
- Roller cam
- solid lifters
- T&D shaft rockers
- Brand new ISKY 9385 PLUS valve springs
- Callies Crank - 3.5" Stroke
- Oliver Rods - 6.00" long
- JE Pistons .60 over
- 12.5:1 compression
It made 487rwhp on a dynojet chassis Dyno with a 650 Holley carb with a very conservative tune (11:1 AFR). Greg estimated 4-10 races had been run on it since the rebuild and I have run 3 races on it. For the asking price this motor comes 100% complete from the dry sump pan to the 650 holley dp carburetor that has been rebuilt. It comes with the full accessory drive. I have schoenfeld tri-y headers that I will sell separately. Asking price is $4500.
