I was reading an unconfirmed story online (not Facebook) that Palm Beach International Raceway is set to close ( though it offered up no date.)The post mentioned a sale to Walmart for it to be used as a distribution center or possibly super center location.Though there was no evidence or legal posting offered up of a record of sale a source in the story said Walmart is notoriously slow on setting closing dates on property purchases.Neither entity would comment on the post and apparently at least for now it’s business as usual at the race facility.I myself have never visited the place but I feel compelled to now before it does possibly become history.
Yuck. I certainly hope this is wrong.
