Kyle Busch plans to race in Winchester 400
Add another Nextel Cup name to the upcoming Winchester 400.
Kyle Busch practiced at the half-mile track Monday, along with Cup driver David Stremme.
Busch ranks sixth in Chase points toward the championship.
The Winchester 400 is planned on Oct. 14.
Busch and Stremme will start at the back of the field in the 400-lap event. That’s because they will miss qualifying due to the Nextel Cup race the night before at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.
The Winchester 400 is sanctioned by the CRA Super Series Late Models. Many other divisions will race on the weekend of Oct. 12-14, including open wheel modifieds, crate late models, sportsman and street stocks.
