Tomorow night is the Homer Gordon Memorial Sportsman 50 at SpeedWorld. Purple was Homer’s color and if possible, please wear something purple to honor our friend.
We miss you Homer and forever hold you in our hearts.

I did see several people wearing purple and lot of people wearing a purple ribbon in memory of Homer. Thanks Jane for making the ribbons. It was also nice to spend some time with Homer’s mom last night in the grandstand and very touching that Barbara Pierce asked for her to come down onto the track to meet the drivers.
… and it was very nice to meet her too.
