Combining Forces

Robert Black heads up the ISCARS Series. The ISCARS are the old Daytona Dash series.
He is one several series directors or promoters, who have visited the Old School procup series that has yet to be named.
Black is looking at combining his dates with the new series to run some events next year.
Black is a former Busch Series director and has plenty of knowledge of how to put on races.

With all the interest of promoters, series directors and track spokesmen, attending the Old Schools ,two races, just go to show how popular already this new series is getting to be. Interim head man, Joe Schmalling, still says he is the small man who is wanting to build a series. The Old School Series hope to have some answers within thirty days on the direction they take. One of those hoping to do business with this new series is Black who feels the Old School guys can help both series grow. And Schmalling, who is heading up the series until an advisory board can be assembled, feels several of the small tracks and series need to team up to grow and ALL work together.

Super Cup at Hickory 10/25/08

The Super Cup Series will be joining ISCARS and Southern Mods at Hickory on October 25th.
We are pleased to announce that the scheduling has been worked out for this season ending event.
The series directors have been working on this day for several months.
All three are ending their seasons at Hickory on the same day.
This will be one of the biggest days of racing in quite a while.
Hickory fans are accustomed to good racing and seeing history being made.
This event will be the first time all three series will be in the same place at the same time.
A exhibsion race was held at Hickory last year.
As a result of that race the Super Cup Series was formed.
Without Sherry and her staff the Super Cup Series may not have happened.
To end our first season at the track where it all started is very spiecial.
