Former six-time world champion Scotty Cannon will be a special guest on Real Racin’ USA’s “Straightlining with Stevie” next Wednesday night at 8 PM.
Scotty Cannon, Sr. will join his son Scott, Jr. in the pursuit of the 2008 IHRA Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified world championship. The elder Cannon, a six-time IHRA Pro Modified world champion, will cease driving in the Top Fuel ranks in order to drive an identical Vanishing Point Race Cars 1968 Firebird to the one Scott, Jr. won the 2007 championship with.
This Wednesday night guests on “Straightlining with Stevie” include 2007 Top Fuel National Champion Bruce Litton along with Top Sportsman Champion Racin’ Jason Lynch.
From the Harley dragster ranks will be Verl Smith, head of the “Racin for Vets” organization along with ProGas National Champion David Feazell.
