AB195 lights up OSW

It looks like another new racing addict has been created tonight. Roger “Digger” Donaldson, AKA as KARNAC character AB195 made his stockcar driving debut tonight at Speedworld in Ron McCreary’s #13 Hurricane car.

The picture below doesn’t tell the whole story. That shot was taken during his first ever practice session. Hey, everyone does it sometime!

Roger ran one practice, a heat (3’rd) and a 20 lap feature. Give the guy credit; he was fast and aggressive by the end of the feature. At the white flag, he was passing the second place car, but he made a rookie mistake and ended up 5’th.

Many thanks to racing veteran and all-round good guy Ron McCreary for making this fun night happen.

Your Going The Wrong Way!!! Only If It Was Crash A Rama.someone Would Need A New Nose And Front Clip.bring That Out In June. Please.

Hey Moe, you know you’ve never gone fast enough to spin out. Run those demos at 10 mph and leave the real driving to the experts.

he’s not going the wrong way. he’s practicing for a race in Australia.

a pink car ???

Yep, its McCreary Racing Pink, a color that sticks you in the eye like a pencil. To get the shade right, the car has to sit out in the sun for a few years

Check out some more of the McCreary racing iron at this new site. http://www.4Qracing.homestead.com

I dont see the Mary Kay decals on the hood. None the less, running that god in his first race is something to be proud of. Looks like someone will be hunting down a race car now. Once that bug gets you there is no getting rid of it. Hey roger, Il sell you a turn key mini stock.

He’s talented enough to run the race in reverse.

Racing addict, you bet.
Thanks to the Mcreary Racing Team, Ron and Todd, and the Bone.
Almost been a week ago, and I still have yet to fall asleep, just like skydiving.
Just like skydiving, the rush is in me, no Maxwell House Coffee is that good!
Rookie mistakes were initiated, and apologies to my fellow drivers were handed out, sheepishly I might add.
Being the middle-age man I am, I kinda’ played the 'ol roundy-round game that we have all grown to know.
I have been amongst the best of OSW Street-Stock Class, and I have been taught a bunch of lessons.
Bet I’ll just tuck this one under my belt, to tell my grandkids that yes, I had done that.

Anyone got a Stock-Car for sale?
Gotta’ do this again.
Rog

Judging by the picture, I finally figured out what the AB stands for - Always Backwards!

Just kidding man. I think that’s awesome that you got out there and mixed it up.

And going for second place heading toward the money lap? Get your ass back out there and get a checkered flag!

That and I need someone besides Boneman to cheer for after I’ve had a couple of beers at OSW.

Way to go Roger!

Hey Tripper, there is no one else to cheer for besides me.

for a Strictly Stock, i’d just pull something out of the weeds.

if you’ve got some kind of a weird safety fetish ( like John Tenney ) you could install a cage, seat and belts.

basic expenses that you should figure on that will apply to all forms of auto racing would be:
trailer
tow vehicle
helmet
fire suit w/gloves
tools/shop or some kind of arrangements to fix it back up when things go crunch in the night

then you can worry about the cost of car, fuel and tires.

check out the Hoot experience: http://itsahoot.com/

he thought he could get into Mods for $9000.

the first is a large part of the reason for the second.

not that the adrenalin will ever go away, but right now you’re too wired to make good decisions.

i certainly wouldn’t get into something higher up until you get comfortable just being in a race.

speaking of bad decision making, wanna buy a race car? :ernaehrung004:

cheer for Ron. like as not, he’ll deliver a beer to you when he comes out for pace laps.

we do NOT run for the Narone’s. not even when somebody else ( like Chuck Rush at Auburndale ) is just licensing their name. i suppose if you supplied the car and paid entries and told one of us to get in the seat we wouldn’t fight about it too much. but having one of us drive to the front wouldn’t do you any good at the end of the night.

and that’s about all that needs to be said about that.

You aren’t expecting me to let that one slide by are you?

I have a wife and kids - Safety is NUMERO UNO

or just take out a high benefit insurance policy. :aetsch013:

Yeah find me insurance that covers Auto Racing

Lloyd’s of London needs to talk to you…

Okay…how much can you afford in premiums?

I’ll bet the NASCAR boys have the number for Lloyd’s on speed dial.

OJAMA

You forget that I am a licensed insurance agent!

The cost of Lloyd’s insurance for a race car driver would be … prohibitive to say the least.

Better off just putting the money in CDs and LIVING off of the interest.

Blissful ignorance is a good thing…

I didn’t forget…

I never knew.

Ewe fergit…
Dem NAPPYCAR boys gots plenty o money…dey kin ford dem Lloyds pahlercees…
