City Beverage/Budweiser Sunbelt 125 Friday Night at Orlando SpeedWorld
Orlando, FL (March 9, 2008) The countdown has begun for the first race of the year for the Sunbelt Super Late Model Series at Orlando SpeedWorld. The City Beverage/Budweiser Sunbelt 125 will see plenty of action Friday night.
“We are expecting to see a good count of Super Late Models,” said Series Director Rick Hall.
“There will be a lot of old faces and new faces Friday night at SpeedWorld including the 2007 Sunbelt Super Late Model Champion Tim Russell.”
Drivers in 2008 will see a new feature added to their web-site as bios and pictures will be added for each driver. Information packets will be given out Friday night at SpeedWorld. Also, when possible, the race will be reported live on the karnac.com Florida Stock Car Racing Message board.
Thursday night, March 13, Orlando SpeedWorld will host an open practice for all divisions including the Sunbelt Super Late Models. Drivers who wish to leave their haulers overnight may. Practice will be from 5 to 10 pm, cost $20.00 a car plus 3, $5.00 each additional person and for spectators.
Friday night’s show will include the City Beverage/Budweiser 125, Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Stock, Mini Stock, Strictly Stock, Legends and Bandoleros. Plenty of action for all the racer and fans.
On Friday, March 14, the pit gates will open at 2 pm with practice alone for the Sunbelt Super Late Models from 3 to 4 pm. Division practice will follow with all divisions until 6:30 pm. Qualifying for the City Beverage/Budweiser 125 will be begin at 6:45 pm.
General admission will be $20.00, students and seniors (62 and older) $15.00, children 11 and under free.
