Bob…the whole point is no one wants to come here to read about or be drug into a religious or political debate. No…that’s wrong. There ARE people who seem to like that but I still believe the majority want to discuss RACING and RACING RELATED subjects.
The real problem is Carol KNOWS that but she WANTS to spark a big debate about it. Pretty much why she started this thread, dontcha think? I mean, it was already beaten to death on another thread but she just HAD to try to restart it here. I’m sure she will be back-peddling and try to deny it or say that she really didn’t mean it that way…that is her modus operandi, you know.
I don’t deny anyone his or her religious affiliations just as I don’t care what division, or brand of car they want to race. But at least this is a place to talk about which track they like or which driver they like to hate.

Satan works everywhere… i certainly didnt want to cheapen the Lords name by opening a can of worms. my only intention was to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to remind everyone what this time means. they dont have to believe…God will be our judge…
somehow things have a way of spiraling on this board and i keep trying to explain myself. well God doesnt need explaining… I dont need explaining either. i am a really caring decent woman and just because some of the ppl on this board dont feel the same way i have no intentions of changing what took so long to fix! :wink: i have done my share of wrong doing over the years. but I dont worry because i know God will forgive me and thats all that matters to me.

this is so wrong. ppl who love and believe in God get put in the complainer section and ppl who call each other a$$holes and insult each other get to control the message board in general.
the easiest solution would be for anyone who doesnt want to hear me to just skip over all my posts… but the truth is they thrive on the drama.

I wanted to stay out of this and probably should have. You got moved to complainers corner for starting a rant because you can’t force you beliefs on others, not because you believe in god. everyone who believes believes in A GOD. I am Baptist and even i get ill when religion is FORCED on others. Spreading the word is right…but to those who want to listen. Not who you want to MAKE listen.

thank you for being a gentleman. i can accept criticism if it is done politely. i didnt want to go on a religious debate. i simply wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas… i did answer Dons post and it just escalated . it is over now and im trying to get past it. but not because they “ran me off”… i left of my own accord because i hate to see His name desecrated.
i wont ever try to force God on anyone… like they say…they know all about Jesus and some choose not to believe. i would not think of forcing anyone to change. they wouldnt anyway.
i do defend my right to speak of Him… :wink:

Wow. I never said I wasn’t a Christian or that I didn’t believe in Christianity. Can’t recall anyone else saying that either. In fact, all anyone has ever said is that they don’t want to be preached at or have their religious beliefs debated on a racing message board.

I’ve tried to stay quiet but she keeps on blaming everyone but herself. The original post was not to wish people a Merry Christmas. It was to complain about the values of people that did not read and reply to Don’s original post. (I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have liked anyone responding if they didn’t agree with her beliefs.) Then she went on to say that “not spreading the word of God is suicide. not honoring His son is suicide”. Sorry, but she has asked for everything she has received and probably much more. (I’m sure there are many more that have not posted.) This thread would have died a long time ago, if she hadn’t kept posting. We are letting Wixy be Wixy. Heck, I read her posts for the entertainment value.
