Great news. I bet they get around 80 SLM for this race… and not have to pay the World of Outlaws sanction fee, which I believe is MUCh higher than a UMP fee.
AND, at least double the amount of cars.
One thing to consider though… isn’t that Sunday reserved as a rain-date at the end of East Bays week? If there are any rainouts from Monday-Saturday, they will probably be commited to EB.
The only time they would use Sunday is if Saturday night was rained out…in that case it may be a day race and Ocala could still run that night.
Last year EBRP had 2 rainouts and run double races twice that week to give the guys Sunday to travel. They do everything they can to finish it Saturday night.
Man I just may and head up there for that race after watching them at East Bay all week!!! I love them latemodels!!! :huepfen024:

Jason Feger, the UMP Summernationals Champion will be at Ocala Speedway…of course as with all the guys this all depends on nothing bad happening at East Bay the week before!

I agree and thats why we are very excited to have him on board… We have alot of interest from drivers but they want to make sure they get through East Bay first. If East Bay goes smoothly, I wouldnt be suprised to see Dennis Erb, Steve Casebolt, and many more there. Hopefully get some more big names for you soon!
