A few weeks ago on another thread a few of us wrote about drivers from the past at Canfield and Sharon Speedways and others from the Ohio area. No way did the fastest or even the driver that won the last week started up front. Today at Dover it didn’t look to pack. Maybe at any level of racing the fans are tired of watching the same drivers or teams owner win most of the time. If you are a car owner in NASCAR maybe you can make a decent living being on the losing side. However, if you keep being in the back at the finish at the local track because you start in the back every race you get tired of the money you are losing each race. Then of course the track will have worst car counts if driver can’t afford to race and the fans quit coming out.

I think that’s what the 4 week average is about Darren. You finish near the back for 4 weeks, guess what your back up front. Really like the 4 wk avg. wish all tracks would run it.
