The 56th Running of the Hutchinson Grand Nationals roared into the history books Friday and Saturday night at the State Fair Speedway in Hutchinson Ks.
These races has been a major racing event for many years here in the heartland of America, in the early years it was the big one for many of the top name drivers in the supermodified division, regular cars were given to the winners that won the event, Tiger Bob Williams of Kansas City won three of them. Any body that was any body in the racing world ran this race.
The race now is run under the Banner of NCRA and sanctioned by them, don’t fool yourself and think it as lost any of the prestige of the past any driver would still want this win on his driving resume.
