Big things happening for Joey Coulter Charity 200 Race Weekend !

12-6-12 - With just eight days before the 7th Annual Charity 200 Race Weekend an added event, and other info has been released. Event promoter Rick Bristol has announced an opening event to the weekend made possible by Sonny’s BBQ.

" Thursday night Dec. 13th as an opener to our 7th Annual Joey Coulter Charity 200 Race Weekend, Sonny’s BBQ is putting on a special event to help give a boost to the cause. Thursday night they we will have a Charity Race Night at Sonny’s from 5-9 p.m. 10% of all sales during those hours will go to C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. to help children and families with terminal illness. This is a such a cool deal and we want to thank manager Kim Snyder for putting this on. It is so cool to see the support in the Auburndale area for our events first year there" said Rick.
Sonny’s is located at 4600 Recker Hwy. Winter Haven FL. 33880.and they will have BOGO tickets for the race event and a chance for someone to win a Free family 4 pack of tickets and chance to meet Joey Coulter. Come out and join us there will be a race truck on display and more.

On Friday we open the event at Auburndale Speedway Friday with pits opening to the Pro-Truck teams only at 10 a.m… Then the pits will be open to the other divisions at 11 am. Trucks and Legends will qualify at 6:30 Racing begins at 7 p.m.
Front gates will open at 4 p.m. Adults only $7 Military, EMT, Fire, Law Enforcement and Seniors only $5. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Scouts are FREE in uniform or pack shirt and the family of a scout are just $5. Pit pass for Friday night is $20.

WPCV 97.5 Country will be with us for a live remote from 4-7 near the front gate with prizes and more. Tempest Cycles will be on hand and will have a Brand new specially designed and custom painted Motorcycle to raffle off with all proceeds to benefit the event. This will go on all weekend !

Sonny’s BBQ will be feeding the first 225 people in the pit area who get meal tickets and the volunteer officials at around 9 p.m. Friday night. They will each receive a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, beans, coleslaw and sweet tea !! Meal tickets will be available through out the day at registration until gone. each person must pick up their own ticket.

Saturday we will open pits at 11 a.m. there will be an autograph session on the front stretch at 5:30 with all drivers and Nascar Camping World Truck Series driver Joey Coulter. Pre-Race ceremonies at 6:30 with the Pro-Truck 100 going off at 7 p.m. Adult tickets for this big night are only $10, Seniors $7 and Military, EMT, Fire, Law Enforcement only $5. Kids 12 & Under FREE, Scouts are again FREE and the families of Scouts also $5. The pit pass for Saturday is $25.

740am The Game will be on hand to broadcast the race live, and will be streamed on I Heart Radio everywhere. Veterans sports broadcasters Tracy Dent, Dave Westerman will call the event along with Stew Smith. It will be on from 6:30 - 9 p.m. So for those that can not make it to the event, join us by radio and sent in a donation to help the cause. 

We will have raffle prizes, silent auction items, 50/50 raffles going all weekend. There will be an event shirt for sale for $12, and event program for $3 which you can also order if you can not attend and for $5 have shipped to you proceeds to help the families. $20 for the package shipped !!!
