FASCAR Motorsports Promotions---

On Wednesday July 16th, 2014, the date confirmed, is a one-time event of it’s kind, with both winged supermodifieds and winged outlaw sprint cars running together for 50 laps.

The purse is stout, and only the top 24 make the “A” Main.

Supermodifieds will run the MSA tires, and the sprints will run the Auto Value/Buckeye Series tires.

Wed. July 16th, 2014
Sandusky Speedway, Ohio
1/2 mile semi-banked asphalt oval

No, it’s not the FASCAR we all remember, and not and April Fools prank.

The 468 Supermodifieds, against the 410 Outlaw Sprints.

$38,000.00 purse, and $5000.00 to win------$1000.00 to start, all cars entering will get show money, cash paid.

It would be nice to see some rear-engine pushers come out of mothball hiding, and make an appearance.

That is a show I would pay big bucks to attend.

That is what I’m talking about!!!

Reminds a little of the Classic they use to have at Phoenix with all kinda Open Wheel cars mixed up together.

Road Trip!!!

That is the way to put a program together! Maybe I’ll have to make a business trip to Ohio that week…

I’m about two hours south of Sandusky.

'Nother good midweek show up here is Main Event outlaw wedge Late Models at Midvale on July 2. The place is packed and about 30 cars showed up last year, if I recall.

Tha shw like that for a few years at Sunshine speedway in the winter.
I went once. It was great and the sprints then were 315ci and kept up good

Come on Rog, you know damn well I’m taking the supermod.

How COOL would this be… The Bone Brothers Invade Indiana

Rex brings the Sprint, David brings the 1967 Jim Shampine Super Mod.

There wouldn’t be a dry eye in the house, between the Nostalgia of Shampine & and the Legend of Boneman…!

I saw the wingless super mods race there a couple of years ago. This is a big horsepower track, should be a fantastic show.

Yeah, I’d be all about the adventure. Maybe if we had a big dollar sponsorship from a forklift dealer, or perhaps a pet resort! Jerry? Ed?

Actually, I’ll be busy enough with TBARA and all the kart races for the boys. It would be a neat dream though.

Sounds like a good event but I doubt it will be.

For one thing if just mainly the pavement sprint cars from the surrounding area show up they are heavier and less horsepower than their dirt counterparts.Would be nice to see the supers though its been quite a few years. If anyone does go though go down to the gift shop (if they still have one)and get a copy of a FREE program that the supermod group puts out.It will blow your mind.Loaded with COLOR pictures. The facility (and the stands) is in a state of uh,I’ll be kind here, FALLING APART.At least it was two years ago,the last time I was there.
