All I can say is wow
Wow !!! It’s really unfortunate but that seems to be the whole attitude of the whole management team. I live in Ft Myers and drive right past there to go to Desoto for that very reason. I’ve been twice since the place opened and was disappointed both times. They also raised their admission, and you have to bring your own chair unless you want to stand the whole night. I sure hope they figure it out before its to late.
Who is that man ? LOL !
He’s right about most of it but he has no class whatsoever.
Another good reason not to support that joke of a facility. Between the attitudes of the owners/employees and their constant lies, I’d never set foot back there until they are gone.
Nice PR! What a dumb C- word! If that’s one of the owners, I’d never go there! If that’s just an employee, her ass would be fired and sent packing back up to ^$@!king Michigan!
But guys…It’s Her Facebook page.
Therefore she can say whatever she wants with absolutely no repercussions…
That had to be the most short sighted video I have seen. All under the perceived veil of immunity.
Seems like that ‘little lady’ has a thing for the drifters. Watch out boys she’s after ya.
Am admittedly on the outside looking in.
And I understand that stock cars cost a ridiculous amount of money for someone (driver/owner or owner), and with that level of commitment comes emotion.
But there is almost a marital-relationship kind of deal going on here. The tracks expect the racers to be “grateful”, and vice versa.
Neither is, of course, because it is a break even deal plus or minus a little (sometimes minus a lot) and both sides are focused on their own concerns.
How about looking at it professionally?
If you run a race track, you are going to need big shoulders. Part of the deal–right up through NASCAR level. Someone is going to complain.
If you are a competitor–or thinking about being one–it is a life of heartache. Admit it, the “payout” is a fraction of your costs for the night. In all probability you will lose money on the evening. In all probability the car will need more money spent on it after the evening. In all probability someone, somewhere, will treat you unkindly, unfairly, or both.
It is a compelling, yet for all but a few, a losing game.
If you can accept that, it may be a little easier. And race where it is most cost-effective, both emotionally and financially.
And it is very little consolation, for sure, but thank you.
What a bitch, she doesn’t have a clue. So much for " Charlotte County Speedway" with that attitude it will never return. First Kevin stole everything when he left and now they have the attitude we need them, wrong, Desoto is not that far away. I would like to know how some one like that even got a job dealing with the public, she is enough to close down any thriving business let alone a race track trying to open.
First off, she’s not 3 Palms Speedway, she is apparently the pit gate person. So her opinions are not necessarily the tracks opinions. And she’s certainly entitled to her opinions. Unlike most of the people who post here, she actually has interacted with both the stock car guys as well as the drifting guys.
I’m a little suspicious of her real purpose in making and posting the video. I think there may be a little more to the story than her just trying to be famous among her 6 friends on facebook. For instance, who found such an obscure post and then decided to send it around the internet?
She is correct in what she says. The oval guys whine about unfair tech, about unfair rules, about being outrun by big money, or big motors. The oval guys want to drag their fellow racers down to their level instead of upping their game to go faster. The oval guys constantly complain about payouts, and if payouts aren’t up to their liking, they just stay home. By the way, i happen to agree with that part. The payouts from this past Saturday night, all across Florida, were about the same or lower than the payouts 20 years ago. But we’ve discussed that before.
The drift guys, and the drag racers, and the tractor pull guys, the moto X guys, and all the other forms of racing just show up and race. The oval track guys are arguing over whether or not a fabricated firewall or an aftermarket sway bar bracket is legal. And if the other guy has one, and you don’t, then it’s illegal.
She is fired!!
Three palms has already taken action and handled the situation very well. Check it out on Facebook at Three Palms Speedway.
wonder how she likes them circle track racers now? they got her Fired !!! BAH BAH BAH LOL she thought she was so smart that’s what she gets opening her BIG pie hole. good job 3 palms.

Where in her video did she talk about racers complaining about unfair rules, unfair tech, big money and big motors???
WAITTT!!! Maybe she is Matt Albee!!!

Boy, it took you a while to catch up!!!
In all probability you will lose money on the evening.
I think the verb is wrong here. When you decide to race, you know it’s an entertainment, so you do not loose money, you spend money, to have fun, and sometimes, some of it come back in purses, point funds, and sponsorship, which you cannot have in other entertainment(s). So on this side, we’re lucky.
When you start loosing your shirt in racing, that is when you step in waaaaay over your head, like in an addiction. Now the problem is not racing, it’s how you approach it.

Ummm, when you said this. I must have misread this. Wait, no I don’t think I did.
