Life has thrown me another curve. Dad now has stage 4 lung cancer, so I am caring for him. About to come back to Florida .
Monte is good. Had to replace the break lines and the heater core… Otherwise. She is doing well.
Ms. Kat, am very sorry about your Dad, will be praying for both of you. It is difficult I am sure, but a Blessing that you get to be there for him now…
And in the usual unasked-for-advice dept, put some Monte Carlo SS 15x7" wheels with 235/60 rubber on that thing, along with an early style MC spoiler!
Just painted a fender and a hood for my Son’s '85 SS yesterday, so am intimately familiar with the lines of that car.
We are going to… It is a slow process. First derailment was losing mom in dec to cancer… Looks like we will be repeating it this year with dad, so it will take some time.

Kat, my '98 Mark VIII has a base coat of white/silver, a mid coat (?) that is pearl that you can see through, and then of course a topcoat of clear.
Suggest to Hubby shooting it in OEM (assuming you/y’all like it) off-white and then giving it a coat of the pearl, and then clearing it of course.
It would look near stock (but cooler) and you wouldn’t have to deal with the jambs and all that–they would be close enough.
Now, back to the non-racing action.

yes he is also bringing in a promoter from North Carolina. All we are trying to do is get OSW running again. Same rules basicly as NSS except let some people like say Aulb. Desoto run their street stocks. Same rules as NSS for mods sportsman mini stocks and bombers. payoff will be same as NSS. Except top 3 classes will receive $25.00 more for fiest place

He wants to stick to stock, and doesn’t like the pearl. I am good either way, just as long as it shines, looks nice and he washes it.
