Attention Central Florida Super Late Model Drivers and Fans

Once again this weekend Citrus County Speedway will be the only track in the Central Florida area that has Super Late Models on their race schedule.

If you are a Super Late Model competitor or a fan of Super Late Model racing residing in the Central Florida area wanting to stick closer to home to satisfy your SLM racing fix the logical place for you to be will be at Citrus County Speedway this Saturday, April 15th.

There will be a guaranteed purse with $1,600 going to the winner of the 50 lap Super Late model Feature. The whole class payoff breakdown can be found on the Citrus County Speedway website: www.citruscountyspeedwayandtrack.com.

Of note to fans: general admission to the spectator grandstands is only $8 with children six and under always admitted free. No other track in Florida offers such an entertainment value. Gates open at 5 p.m. Racing starts at 6 p.m.

Pretty sure Late Models are at 4-17 also!

4-17 Southern Speedway is in Punta Gorda which is in South Florida, not Central Florida. They are running Super Late Models, but it would be quite a ride for Super Late Model competitors and fans alike from Central Florida and points North.

The simple intent of my post was to make those who don’t like making long drives to get to speedways aware that Citrus County Speedway has Super Late Models on the schedule as well for tomorrow night, April 15. An option is available which would be closer to home.
