Wheelman Sportsman Series Wheels Into Citrus County Speedway

The always exciting Wheelman Sportsman Racing Series wheels into Citrus County Speedway for a 50 lap feature event this coming Saturday night, April 22.

We are anticipating a strong field of these fabulous, exotic looking racing machines with the finest drivers in Sportsman racing competition expected to be on hand.

It should be a great evening of racing as the Modified Minis will share the spotlight with a 50 lap feature of their own.

The Floral City Animal Clinic Pure Stocks will have you on the edge of your seats as they usually do with some of the closest racing of any of our track divisions. Not only are they scheduled for a 25 lap feature on the oval track, but we’ve added a Pure Stock Figure 8 race.

In recent weeks we’ve added Fan Participation racing to our card. We saw some surprisingly great side by side racing this past Saturday that had the fans hooting and hollering.

Fan Participation racing pairs drivers of street legal cars and trucks against each other in one lap qualifying heats with the two best remaining going head to head for two laps for the $100 cash prize. On any given Saturday night a fan can go home $100 richer by taking only a few laps around the Citrus County Speedway oval.

We’ll have some unpredictable attractions to further entertain you to make your visit to Citrus County Speedway a rewarding night out and it will only cost you the low spectator admission price of $8 with children six and under always admitted free.

Really looking forward to the Wheelman Sportsman Series return to the new Citrus County Speedway. They put on a great show. Not to mention the Pure Stocks and the Mod Minis.
