1st Time at 4-17

Finally made it to 4-17,
Saw some great races (as well as seeing Steven aka Boneman Jr, win both his heat and feature).
This track is super fan friendly in a couple of ways… 1st on my list - NO vehicles in the infield EXCEPT one truck with the American Flag. Fans had full view of the races without any blockage… push vehicles, wrecker and pace car were kept off track unless needed.
2nd on my list - announcer kept an eye on children playing along the fence line and reminded them to get back during the racing. Something you don’t often see at tracks in the most part…Don’t ever want to see a car or car parts come thru or over the fence and hit the youngins…

Looking forward to a return trip… OSF

OSF all up in there! Sorry we missed you bud.

Agreed, 4-17 is well run and puts on a good show. It is 180 miles for us, but has proven to be open-wheel friendly. It is a steady stop for the BG Southern Sprints, and is the home base for the TQ midgets.

How did you like the part-time announcer Jason Beckner? We can hear him clearly from our pit stall, and it is clear that ya just can’t hide crazy. JB brings a lot of entertainment to the show, whether at 4-17 or at Hendry.

Here is a pic of my son Steven after his second TQ feature win of 2019!
